The elastic waistband on the skirt is, in contrast to the rest of the piece, knitted in a plain right-hand pattern. Thanks to the elasticity of knitted textiles, it adapts easily to the body. Its cut is fitted and the hemline is situated between the knee and the middle of the lower leg.
